Privacy Policy

OrJord (Orienteering Jord) is an independent orienteering companion for iOS. It is not an official Eventor app and is not affiliated with SOFT, IOF, or national federations. This policy describes how OrJord handles your information.

Third-party status

OrJord reads calendar, entries, and results from Eventor when permitted. Sign-up and payment always happen on the Eventor website, under Eventor’s own terms. Eventor API keys used by the service are stored on the server only — not in the mobile app.

What we collect

• Eventor account: If you sign in, your Eventor username is stored on your device. Your password is stored securely in the iOS Keychain and is only sent to our server to verify your Eventor account.
• OrJord profile: Optional bio, preferences, and community content you choose to post (feed, comments). Name and club come from Eventor.
• Device token: If you enable notifications, we may store a push notification token linked to your app installation.
• Usage data: Basic technical logs needed to operate the service.

What we do not collect

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not track you across unrelated apps or websites.

Eventor data

Race calendar, entries, and results come from Eventor. When you use OrJord, our server requests that data from Eventor on your behalf. Eventor’s own terms and privacy rules apply when you use their website for registration or payment.
